At Back Into Shape Children’s Wellness Center, patients and their loved ones are welcomed by a space where architecture is cleverly lit to resemble the great outdoors, creating a refreshing environment to stimulate the senses. The space is softly lit with ample natural lighting during the day. Primary colors are utilized as the color palette to evoke the feeling of brightly colored wooden toys, as well as amplify readability and understanding.
By providing children with an environment where they’re present and engaged, their healing process is made more effective and invigorating. In addition to the architecture, the wellness center integrates sensory play to ground patients and provide a relaxing experience. Back Into Shape celebrates the joy of childhood in the most unexpected of places.
